Keep an eye out for an extra paid edition of Letters from Eva this month because I still had one more to make up for that I missed while traveling this fall. 😘 (If you’re trying to remember, I normally send out 1 paid edition and 1 free edition each month, so 2 total. But this month, I’ll send out 2 paid editions, like I did last month, since I’m still playing catch up.)

And a lil’ seasonal update:

Kirk and I are doing our best to create holiday magic for the kids. We got our tree last weekend, finally put the lights on it tonight (we were out of batteries, of course), and will finish decorating it this weekend, fingers crossed. We’ve also begun our holiday children’s book advent (we read one each night) and I ordered chocolates and minifigs to go in our reusable advent calendar. (Better a late start than never, I guess?)

Last week, I optimistically bought evergreen garlands from Costco to put around the house, but of course they are already dried to a crisp.

And yes, Christmas music galore! On the record player in the kitchen, on our little portable speaker in the car (because our normal car speakers are blown, lol). Here are a couple of holiday mixes I created in years passed, if you’re interested: This one is upbeat (main genre: soul). This one is bittersweet (main genre: folk).
