About Your Trip LEADER

Eva Jorgensen loves nothing more than uncovering delightful, under-the-radar places—whether that’s a flea market stall, a tucked-away museum, or a charming neighborhood shop—and sharing them with others. She thrives on gathering people around the dinner table, connecting old and new friends, and caring for her beloved travelers.

She also brings plenty of experience to the table: an 18-year design industry veteran with an MFA in studio art, Eva knows how to take excellent care of her clients and create truly memorable experiences. She’s a lifelong Francophile who speaks French and is the author of Paris by Design: An Inspired Guide to the City’s Creative Side (Abrams NY).

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT HOW THIS TRIP CAME TO BE

You know how sometimes you get an idea that just won’t leave you alone? It keeps surfacing—in a podcast you’re listening to, a show you’re watching, a snippet of conversation you overhear at the grocery store, even in a random meme on Instagram. It’s as if the universe is quietly nudging you, saying: Pay attention. This matters.

That’s exactly what happened with the Paris Creatives trip. At first I thought I’d plan it for next year. But when I told my friend Brittany, she lit up immediately—and mentioned that the retreat she’d planned for this fall had just been cancelled. It felt like another sign. Suddenly, waiting until “someday” seemed wrong. Why not now? Life is short.

The more I talked with Brittany and with other friends and colleagues, the clearer it became: what so many of us need right now is an intentional pause. A recalibration. A chance to soak up the beauty, inspiration, and joy of Paris in the fall. And not later—sooner.

So here we are, lovelies. I cannot wait. We have the most beautiful week ahead of us.

x Eva

“The trip was fantastic. Eva was so welcoming and easy to connect with and I loved the dynamics and easy friendships that were made amongst my fellow travelers. The trip was so unique in that we got to meet artists and designers living and working in Paris and to hear their inspirational journeys. I also loved the food and all the incredible restaurants we went to.  Each day was a treat and packed full of wonderful inspiring moments that I will never forget.”

WILL I GEL WITH THE GROUP?

Short answer: yes. If this trip feels like a great fit for you as you read through this page, you’ll be a great fit for the group. ♥️

Here’s why:

  • We welcome a diverse mix of travelers (age, race, background, sexual orientation, etc.).

  • Everyone shares a love of travel, creativity, design, beauty, and curiosity about the world.

  • On this trip, all participants are creative women.

  • Past travelers consistently say the group bonds are one of their favorite parts of the experience.

One traveler described our trips as “group travel for people who don’t like group travel.” No giant buses, no guides with microphones, no canned tours. Instead: hidden gems, local connections, small group intimacy.

Practical note: we’ll have a Zoom call + group text thread before departure, so you’ll already know friendly faces when you arrive.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

  • No refunds can be given (including for health, work, family, or personal emergencies), due to the extensive upfront costs of planning a curated trip like this.

  • Transfers are possible: If there’s someone on our waitlist, or if you find someone to take your place (pending our approval + application), you may transfer your spot. Any money exchange would be handled between you and the new traveler.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with a Cancel for Any Reason rider for peace of mind.

WHAT IF THERE ARE NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS OR A TRAVEL BAN?

If official restrictions make it impossible to travel or do the majority of planned activities, we’ll postpone the trip to new dates (doing our best to accommodate everyone).

If you can’t make the new dates, you may transfer your spot to someone else (see cancellation policy above).

WHAT ARE YOUR VALUES?

  • We believe in the transformative power of travel—especially through meaningful connections with locals and fellow travelers.

  • We cultivate a culture of kindness and connectedness on every trip, and ask participants to do the same.

  • We support and celebrate independent artists, makers, designers, artisans, and chefs—always a core part of these trips (and Eva’s book + newsletter).

  • We value diversity and inclusivity—welcoming travelers of all backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.

  • We give back: a percentage of proceeds from every trip is donated to vetted non-profits. Past recipients include The Fresh Air Fund, World Central Kitchen, First Peoples’ Fund, The Trevor Project, International Rescue Committee, and more.
