Upcoming By Design Trips

By Design Trips are intimate, design-led experiences shaped by relationships, research, and a deep respect for creative culture.

These are not typical group tours. We travel in very small groups — typically between 7–12 travelers — and experience each destination from the inside out: private homes, gardens, and studios; conversations with local designers; flea markets and design shops; and beautifully considered meals.

Each itinerary is thoughtfully developed under the creative direction of Eva Jorgensen — MFA-trained creative director and author of Paris by Design — often in close collaboration with trusted local designers and artisans who bring deep, on-the-ground expertise. We return year after year, speak the local language, and open doors that aren’t available to the average traveler.

Whether you’re traveling solo or bringing a friend, you’ll find a group of kind, curious people who care about beauty and meaning as much as you do.

PROVENCE BY DESIGN

April 27 - May 3, 2027 — Now Booking, 2 spots currently remaining

A crisp, sunny, springtime week in the Luberon — where village markets, historic farmhouses, and beautiful art exist side by side.

We visit a writer in her antique-filled home, shape clay in a local potter’s countryside studio, cook in a chef’s own kitchen, wander one of Europe’s most celebrated flea markets, and explore a vineyard estate where world-class art meets the landscape. Provence here is both intimate and expansive — layered, personal, and incredibly inspiring.

An intimate week in the English countryside — experienced not as tourists, but as welcomed guests to various private homes and gardens.

We spend a day at an artist’s castle-turned-home — painting in his studio, walking his grounds, and sharing meals prepared on the estate — tour a landmark Arts & Crafts house, cook at one of Britain’s most beloved organic farms, and visit a variety of extraordinary private gardens.

April 13-19, 2027 — Sold Out

An immersive week in Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels — where historic interiors, artist ateliers, spring gardens, and flea markets intersect.

We’ll soak up the spring tulips, step inside two remarkable house museums, visit a world-renowned artist’s private studio for a hands-on workshop, experiment with letterpress in a historic atelier, and wander markets filled with antiques. Evenings are beautifully paced, with time for conversation, reflection, and the quiet creative energy Belgium does so well.

PARIS BY DESIGN — Signature

October 27 - November 2, 2026 - Sold Out

Our flagship Paris journey — inspired by Eva’s Paris by Design — shaped by long-standing creative relationships and years of lived experience in the city.

We learn to make hand-tied bouquets in the oldest floral shop in Paris, decorate cakes with seasonal flowers in a classic apartment with marble fireplaces and herringbone floors, spend a day navigating the Paris flea market with insider guidance, and step inside a world-renowned artist’s private studio. This is Paris from the inside — immersive, design-forward, and deeply personal.

PARIS CREATIVES

A Paris week devoted to creative renewal — designed to spark new ideas and restore perspective.

We begin in a centuries-old space with grounding rituals, step inside the homes and studios of local artists for intimate conversation, wander hidden gardens with a plant designer, and gather for evenings of thoughtful exchange with Parisian creatives. Sensory, reflective, and quietly inspiring — less sightseeing, more creative awakening in intimate spaces.

PARIS INTERIORS

An intimate Paris experience centered on interiors — with rare invitations into the homes of local creatives and a curated mix of layered, under-the-radar spaces.

From a historic tassel workshop to a candlelit château and a Left Bank artist studio, each visit feels like stepping into a story. Beautiful meals, meaningful connection, and the quiet pleasure of seeing Paris through the lens of lived-in design.
