The Itinerary
FLOW OF THE WEEK
Some days are fuller — with private homes and studios, ateliers, markets, and shared meals — while others leave more room to wander, shop, rest, or explore Paris on your own.
The week is thoughtfully balanced, with plenty to experience and enough breathing room to enjoy it.
DAY 1
Arrive in Paris and check into our sumptuous boutique hotel, located in a charming, typically Parisian neighborhood. Our rooms overlook the hotel’s pretty garden courtyard.
We’ll get to know each other over drinks in the garden before heading out for our first afternoon together. (It’s amazing how quickly the group gels each time!)
We’ll visit an incredible mansion filled with 18th-century art and antiques, along with its lush neighboring park.
Dinner is at a friendly restaurant serving authentic Breton-style crêpes and galettes — always a crowd favorite.
DAY 2
After a beautiful breakfast downstairs — waiting for us each morning — we’ll drive into the countryside to visit an artist in her home and studio, where her art spills off the page and onto the walls. Everywhere you look, it’s filled with color and creativity.
Then we’ll make our way to the enchanting château that helped inspire Versailles, exploring its meticulously designed interiors and gardens as the sun goes down.
At dusk, thousands of real candles are lit throughout the property.
We’ll have a candlelit dinner of classic French food overlooking the château — what a dream — before fireworks fill the sky and we head back to Paris.
DAY 3
This morning it’s off to the legendary Foire de Chatou to hunt for treasure! The fair happens only twice a year, and our dates are intentionally timed around its fall edition.
Eva will share tips on how to haggle, navigate the market, find the ATM, and more, so you can feel confident exploring on your own.
We’ll meet in a cozy corner of the market for a classic French lunch, followed by plenty more time to hunt for treasure, chat with vendors, or stop for a drink.
After dropping our finds at the hotel and taking a little time to rest, we’ll gather for a home-cooked dinner in the stunning, classic Parisian apartment of a local designer couple.
DAY 4
We’ll start the day with an endearing mother-daughter duo.
First, we’ll visit the mother’s painting studio in historic Montparnasse, where generations of artists have lived and worked. Then we’ll tour their effortlessly chic family apartment, shaped by deep Parisian roots and years spent living around the world.
Lunch is at a delightful café overlooking the Luxembourg Gardens.
Afterward, we’ll visit some gorgeous design boutiques on the Left Bank. Stick with Eva or wander at your own pace.
Then we’ll have time to rest and freshen up at the hotel before dinner at a hip local pizza spot.
DAY 5
We’ll start at an incredible prop house that supplies films like Marie Antoinette and shows like The New Look with beautiful antique objects.
It feels like stepping into Aladdin’s cave — treasure spread over multiple floors. You could walk right by on the street and never know this magical place exists.
Lunch is at a fresh local spot run by two sisters, with inspiration from their Filipino and French heritage.
From there, we’ll walk through atmospheric Père Lachaise Cemetery, stopping at the graves of a few legendary Parisians along the way.
Next, we’ll step inside a magical old-world atelier to see how luxurious tassels, trims, and passementerie are still made by hand.
Our final visit is with a local ceramic artist and her interior architect. We’ll see how they beautifully renovated her classic Haussmann-style apartment, learn about her fascinating process using volcanic stone, and have a chance to shop her work.
After a little R&R at the hotel, we’ll have dinner at a fun new spot with delicious, modern fare in a nearby neighborhood.
DAY 6
We’ll start at a lovely interiors shop whose goods are designed in Paris and handmade by artisans in India. The vibrant owner will share her inspiring story and the craftsmanship behind each piece.
Then you’ll have free time to explore the fantastic shops nearby while Eva gathers supplies for lunch.
We’ll meet along the canal for a picnic sourced from favorite neighborhood food shops — including Eva’s favorite boulangerie in Paris.
The rest of the day is yours to soak up Paris in whatever way suits you best. Return to a shop you spotted earlier in the week, meet up with old (or new!) friends, visit an exhibition you’ve been wanting to see, or just wander.
That evening, we’ll meet back at the hotel for drinks, toasts, and goodbyes with our group of newfound friends.
DAY 7
As with every morning of the trip, a beautiful breakfast will be waiting at the hotel before departures.
We’ll come away feeling inspired and replenished for whatever comes next.
